Greenways make urban life more livable It was great to see the recent Jersey Journal article on the Hackensack River Greenway ('Hudson County seeking $1 million grant to spur development of Hackensack River walkway,' Nov. 1). Although it will take years to complete the entire trail in Hudson County -- from Bayonne to Secaucus -- there are already many finished sections and others currently in development. In Jersey City, for example, there are about five miles of shoreline: almost ⅓ of that already has a trail along the water and another ⅓ is in the planning stage.
